Our canteen is a gold-medal award-winning facility. It is operated by the Parents and Citizens’ Association via the Canteen Committee.
The canteen
is open 5 days a week – at recess (morning tea) and at lunchtime
offers healthy snacks and meals.
is run by a part-time canteen co-ordinator
relies on assistance from voluntary parent helpers
Each season, the canteen co-ordinator plans menus in accordance with the Canteen Committee’s healthy food guidelines. The menu covers Hot Food, Salads, Sandwiches, Snacks and Drinks. A canteen price list is prepared and distributed with the school bulletin.

Children enjoy an occasional treat from the canteen. Why not give yourself a break from making lunches every day? Place a lunch order each week and help keep our canteen financially viable.

write your child’s name and class and the order on outside of a large paper bag (canteen can provide paper bags at 10cents each if required)
place correct money inside bag
place bag in metal post-box outside the canteen.
Class captains collect lunches and distribute them to the children in their class.
Volunteers are sought from the parent community to assist the canteen coordinator prepare sandwiches and hot lunches and to serve children at morning tea and lunch. Children love to see a parent there! If you can help, please contact the school office.
