Out Of School Hours (OOSH) Care
About the centre
Beaumont Rd OOSH is a not-for-profit, community run centre that offers before and after school care during the term and vacation care during holiday periods. We pride ourselves on offering quality care to meet the demand of the community.
At Beaumont Road OOSH we strive to provide a sense of belonging in a family-like atmosphere that encourages positive relationships, respect, cooperation and acceptance between the children, their parents, staff members and the local community. While recognising that each child is an individual, we will strive to provide an interesting program, with choices to meet a wide variety of interests and needs in a safe environment. We would like our Centre to be the place where children feel comfortable and want to be, while promoting the importance of middle childhood and the value of play.
We supervise children in line with best practice ratio of 1:15 in centre and 1:10 on excursions.
Our center comprises of a team of 1 qualified coordinator, 1 training second-in-charge, and many responsible assistants who participate actively in the running of the centre.
If you are interested in enrolling at Beaumont Rd OOSH
1) Download and read the attached Parent Information Booklet
2) Download and complete the attached parent enrolment form , filling out one family information form and the appropriate number of child enrolment forms (1 per child).
3) Download and complete the Severe Allergy Form (as applicable)
4) Download and complete the immunisation supplement, returning it to the centre with either the blue book or an immunisation certificate
5) Download and complete the Child Interests Form
6) Download and complete the AASC form
7) Download and complete the enrolment supplement
8) Transfer the $25 membership fee to the centre bank account (please contact the centre for details). Attach a copy of the receipt to the enrolment form.
9) Contact the Family Assistance Office (136 150) to gain a CRN (please note that from July 2008 this will be a requirement) and, if required, to organise any childcare benefit. You will also need to add our Provider Reference Number whish is available on the fees page in the Parent Information Booklet.
10) Return the completed enrolment form (noting CRN) and supplements listed above.
11) Fill out the appropriate change of booking form at the centre, stating either permanent or casual days that care is required.
